Abstract:
During the course of a series of experiments in which lesions were produced
by stereotaxis methods in the upper brain stem of the rhesus monkey certain
incidental observations regarding manipulative displacement of portions of the
chorioid plexus by the electrodes were made. Similar findings, observed in the
course of previous experimental work, were not reported. Since it is possible
that manipulative displacement of portions of the chorioid plexus might occur
in the human as this technique is more widely applied, it seemed worthwhile to
call attention to these observations.
