Primary hydatid cyst of the spinal cord

Abstract

1. A solitary primary hydatid cyst of the dorsal spinal cord in a 6 year old girl is reported. The lesion was removed in-toto and the patient is asymptomatic 9 years later. 2. The hydatid cyst of the spinal cord is similar in character and rhythm of growth to those of the brain.
